latest news
We have launched our new albums feature. Check out our home page to see some of our latest collections of production music tracks.
We are glad to announce that Muziko has been listed on the Irish Film and Television News website, www.iftn.com, as a music library. We are listed as one of only two production music services on the whole website. IFTN is the main online news service for news, listings of film, video and TV productions in Ireland. They also list all kinds of other services such as composers of music for advertising, TV production companies, camera and sound crew and anything related to film and video production.
At Muziko we are constantly adding new music to our library and at this time of year when the ghosts and ghouls come out is no exception. Simply search 'Halloween' to find the scariest, most haunting tracks for your All Hallows ads!
We are pleased to announce supplying some music to Three Rock Media www.threerockmedia.com for a trailer that they are working on. They decided to use the track Alone Together by the excellent Jonathan Van Atom who has several track on Muziko which are in the vain of Mylo or Royksopp - nice, smooth electronic dance grooves with a real bilssful sound.

Flexible Licensing

At muziko, we aim to give you a flexible pricing structure which we feel will suit all of your project requirements. The licensing of music usually works on the basis whereby the wider the audience will be for a track, the more that the licensor will pay. This benefits the composer who will earn more money for their track if it is used, for example, in a feature film which will be screened many times and will reach a wide audience. The licensor of the music in this case will have a greater budget for music in his or her project. There are also options for music that will only reach a smaller audience, such as on a corporate video or short film. In this case the licensor will pay lower usage fees.

Once you have chosen a suitable track for your music, you can navigate to your shopping cart where you will be able to listen to your music once again. At this point you can also choose your license type by pressing 'calculate'. Here you can choose amongst the different license criteria:

Sector: Choose the sector in which your music is being used, corporate, Games/Mobile Apps, TV/Radio Programs, Film and advertising.

Sub-Sector: Each sector is broken down into a number of sub-sectors that define the license type more clearly.

Length Used: We want the licensor to pay for only what they use and so they can attain better value. The lengths are the sting, or i-dent version, up to 30 seconds, up to 60 seconds and finally the full version of the track. Once the license has been paid for, all versions of the track will be downloaded at once, however, licensors may only use the music under the license that they have purchased.

Region: The region relates to the territories in which the music will be heard or broadcast. For sectors such as Program, Film and Advertising, licensors will select the size of their audience by territories ranging from Local to Worldwide. In some of the Sub-Sectors of Corporate and Games/Mobile Apps, users will choose their audience size in terms of the amount of duplication of the media using the music, or, in relation to Games, the amount of players.

License Term: Almost all of our licenses allow you to use the piece of music perpetually so that once you add a music track to your media, you do not have to worry about re-licensing it for any extended time period.

The only exception to these rules are licenses chosen within the Advertising sector where there are two other types of licenses, Single Advertisement and Muziko Ad Extra.

If a piece of music is being broadcast, then it is possible for our composers to earn some revenue performance royalties - these are paid by the broadcaster and not by you, the user. If the music that you have downloaded is being broadcast, then we would ask you to fill out a cue sheet with the broadcast details, here, and email it to us at

info@muziko.com . If you cannot do that, then you will see that we ask you to provide brief details of the broadcast at the point of payment. We might contact you to ask you for these details which will only take up a moment of your time.

We would like to thank you for using our service and wish you every success with your project!
